DO YOU KNOW SOMEONE WHO NEEDS A PRAYER?

I am not just talking about people who are ill or for those who have recently lost a close one. We probably all at some time pray for some who we know, who needs our prayer. Why not give your prayer more power by letting us all in the congregation pray with you.

We have introduced a prayer request post box in the porch, it has some cards with it to make the request, we do not need to know the reason for the person requiring a prayer, if you think they need a prayer, then that is good enough for us. Just add the person’s name to the card and we would ask that you add your name so that so we know where the request has come from, post the card in the box and your request will be included in the intersessions prayer.

For those giving the intersessions prayer, will you please check the box just before the service and include the person’s name(s) in the prayer.

MESSAGE FROM AMY GARDNER

HP

Hi,

Unfortunately I will no longer be going to Iceland in 2013 owing to the fact that numbers who have met their fund raising targets have reduced from an initial 40 down to 7. I understand that I was one of the few children who were keeping on target with their fundraising and I would like to thank everyone at Church for their support with my efforts.

At this point the school is looking into whether any money will be returned, it may be that it is channelled into other fundraising projects but we will update when we hear anything.

If monies are returned I would like to contribute some into the Church funds to say thank you to everyone who has supported me over the last six months, I will keep you updated, but until then a big "THANK YOU" to everyone who has supported my in my fund raising efforts.
